This is the coolest little kit I put together out of necessity. Everyone loses the Trem spring that comes with their new American Strat. Most people don’t even know it exists. It’s actually shipped from the factory in the Trem receptacle and is under a paper sticker to keep it in place. The first thing the new guitar owner does is remove the paper sticker to insert the Trem arm and out drops the spring, never to be seen again.
Well, I got you covered!
I came up with this idea to keep the spring under a magnet cover that can be moved out of the way when the Trem arm is inserted and then cover the hole back up when removing the arm and placing the guitar in it’s case. This Authentic Fender® spring helps set your tremolo arm in a fixed position when used with any Fender® American series or American Standard series tremolo. The Steel bearing is inserted first and that gives the arm a more fluid feel. Simply insert the bearing first, then the spring into tremolo arm receptacle prior to installing tremolo arm. Package includes a high quality magnetic chrome cover, a Fender® spring, and a steel 4mm bearing. All top quality parts!!

Screw the tremolo arm out of your bridge and drop the ball bearing in the hole. Drop the spring in next, and screw the arm back in place. Place the magnetic cover over the Trem hole when arm is removed for storage!
That’s all there is to it!!
Turning against the ball bearing keeps the spring from binding as it compresses under the tremolo arm. With the added spring tension, the trem-arm stays wherever you leave it.
These kits will only work in;

• American Series,
• Custom Shop,
• American Vintage, and
• Classic, Deluxe, Player Series MIM

and Road Worn® Series (Mexico) instruments.
• Due to the nature of other bridge designs these only work in the mentioned guitar tremolos.
