We have improved upon the original design to help keep the lens safe from scratches and dings.  37mm UV filters can now be attached onto this adapter for direct lens protection, unlike the original design.  These adapters are strong and lightweight.  Never settle for a lens protector without a hard film to protect the actual lens.
This adapter is compatible with standard 37mm threaded UV filters prevalent on Amazon for $5-10.  We have tested K&F Concept, Tiffen and Polaroid.
These UV filters are

and must be purchased separately.

SPECIFICATIONS:

INSTALLATION:
Slowly tighten the UV filter.  Make sure its flat and flash.
Please DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the UV Filter, as it will strip the plastic threads.
The entire lens shield should slide snug onto the front of the Sionyx Camera.
